COMX/GAMEX and IMPACT!
IMPACT! Indie Games Bristol / 2025
|
Our final year project rhythm game "Dance Brawler" the only undergraduate game to be accepted into IMPACT! 2025, located in Bristol. We used this event to gain feedback on the game, such as decreasing the speed of the notes, increasing the max health, and finding bugs we could reproduce. The event was roughly 7 days before the deadline, so as team lead and producer I encouraged the team to have certain features such as the note editor system completed at an earlier date than normal. We had a wonderful time, and I will be attending again in the future, I even made custom T-shirts for the team to help market the game to players!

UOG BEST LEVEL 6 / 2024/25
|
I was lucky enough to win the "Best Level 6" award in 2025, competing against all students studying Computer Games Design, Computer Games Programming, Computer Games Art and AI at the University of Gloucestershire. I was also nominated for "Best Designer" at GAMEX (Formerly COMX), as well as being nominated for the TIGA award "Outstanding Graduate of the Year: Designer".
Our final year group project titled "Dance Brawler" by Small Bag O' Peas, also won "Best Trailer" in 2025 at GAMEX, which was edited by myself. We have since applied this game to both Itch.io and Gamebridge 2025. |

UOG BEST LEVEL 5 / 2022/23
|
Thanks to my hardworking nature and my ability to self-criticise my work and improve it to be the best it could become, as well as the opportunity to lead team projects not only on my course, but outside of studies such as being VP of UOG's Nintendo Society or a course representative of UOG's Games Design course, I was awarded with the Best Level 5 of the academic year and I am so grateful to have been given this award, sponsored by Rebellion!
This award is given out to the student who is academically the most successful and inspiring out of their year group in our 5 courses. I believe this award is proof of my talent and passion for making videogames, and I hope I can achieve this again in my final year! COMX is the University of Gloucestershire's awards show and game playing day, celebrating all of the students' newest game projects. |

My Indie Game
A TOUGH STROLL / 2022
|
I have created an indie game called "A Tough Stroll" using my own university skills, made in just 3 months using Unity's engine, C# and 3D models fully textured and unwrapped by myself. The particle effects were created in Adobe Photoshop, then adjusted within Unity. After publishing the game on itch.io, I created the trailer and edited it within Adobe Premiere Pro using the editing skills I had acquired over the previous 2 years of experience I ahd editing my Youtube videos since 2020.
All of my games design and professional indie work was created under my alias and youtube/instagram name "Tuxedo Cat Productions", to separate my portfolio from my private personal account. The game is inspired by "Firewatch" and includes over 30 unique endings, in a 3D environment completely modeled by myself. You can watch the trailer or the devlog for the game below: |

Previous Roles
|
JOHN MASEFIELD HIGH SCHOOL PREFECT / 2018-2019
Worked as a school prefect, which included goals such as being an assistant tutor to younger students during lessons, assisting the school with taster days where I stood all day at the Drama subject stand, explaining the course and why someone would really enjoy it. Stepped in for a Drama play late in development as one role, since the person planned for the role cancelled quickly. UNIVERSITY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE VICE PRESIDENT OF THE NINTENDO SOCIETY / 2022-2023
Worked as the vice president of the official nintendo society, which involves: arranging weekly meetings, using Photoshop to create social media event posts, responding to member feedback and adjusting dates/times/events accordingly, creating monthly special events, purchasing and preparing appropriate food and drinks to weekly in person sessions, managing the social media pages, and of course bringing my own games and consoles to help more people experience the games in the society. UNIVERSITY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE LEVEL 5 COURSE REP FOR COMPUTER GAMES DESIGN / 2022-2023

The role involves creating questionnaires, polls, interviews and assisting students with their course and how to improve it. This is also achieved through in-person meetups that I must arrange. This data is then transferred to the staff at regular discussion sessions to help improve the university experience, which requires attendance and good time management since I do this alongside university work.
